MARTIE the Dog needs a home
I'm MARTIE, an oh-so-handsome, 2-year-old, 50 pound Plott Hound mix who is ready to be your exercise buddy, agility star, or maybe hiking companion. I love to sniff out "big game" in the yard (like squirrels and deer), and would love a place with a big yard or property so I can patrol to my heart's content. I'm housebroken, crate trained, like riding in the car, and don't wreck stuff in the house...even when I'm left alone outside my crate! Yay for me! I like getting baths (cuz the outdoors needs to get washed off every now and again) and I love to lay by the fire and hang with you. I have my basic commands under my belt (sit, stay, come, heel), but could use some more training to contain my exuberant side. (Life is just so grand! But humans tell me I have to contain myself a little more in celebrating. LOL) I might like to live with a dog, don't know about cats yet, and older children would be best for me. If I sound like the kind of guy who you'd like as your best bud, come get me! I'm MARTIE!
MARTIE is neutered and up to date on core vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly recommended for all young dogs.
